Redditors with tattoos, why did you get it? Does it mean anything special?

I have the Klingon symbol on my wrist. When I had to go get fingerprinted after arrest the officer asked me in a stern voice when taking tattoo pictures "WHAT IS THAT?!?". It immediately made me think she thought it was a gang tattoo or something. When I told her it was Klingon, she remembered it and we talked about Star Trek the whole time.

My body is my temple. I am not religious but in all religions followers decorate their "temples" or places of worship. I do believe in decorating my temple.
My tattoo means something to me. because no one shares identical experiences it os impossible for me to convey that exact meaning.

Thanks! Its the reason its taking me so long to plan my second. My life keeps changing but I want my tattoos to represent a constant in the equation that is my life.
