These are seriously impressive.
Thank you! I don't get to take nearly as many photos with my phone as I would like to, so I'm glad that the few I take are good :-)
Got any tips? It looks like you have a great eye for position and spacing, but I really like the way your photos have a still, frozen-in-time look (if that makes any sense).
I'm not quite sure what you mean, since all photos essentially are moments or memories frozen in time, but I can try and explain what I look for and how I frame my shots.
I have an affection for light and how light can reveal or hide certain parts of an image like http://i.imgur.com/OkQnNpL.jpg and http://i.imgur.com/O0Tm3KW.jpg - there's always something beautiful in harsh rays of light that creates a distinction between elements in a photo.
I also really love long passages that can help lead the eye towards the subject or just in general create some beautiful lines in the photo, like http://i.imgur.com/NJG7mZ3.jpg.
What I almost always try to do though and this is a general tip for especially Instagram pictures (since those are squares) is to have something in your photos centred. I do this in almost all of my photos as I feel like it helps create a sort of striking subject and the composition almost creates itself as long as your centre the subject of your photo.
I hope the above can be used for something even though they are quite basic tips. Also worth noting is that my workflow consists of transferring my photos to my iPad where I usually run them through VSCOcam to get exactly the colours I imagined when taking the photo.
Feel free to ask if something I said didn't make sense or if you have any other questions :-)
