Very very good guide!

What is the best way for zerg to react to this playstyle?

I imagine with two warp gates only he cannot really kill you with warp prism harass, so an early bust will definitely throw off the double stargate game. Roach/hydra all in will probably also cause a lot of trouble because double stargate.

Note: Armchair SC2 strategist. Gold level 1v1s.

Both Protoss and Zergs should watch this video.

Really like the style in which you presented the video. Darken sped up view with alternate wall offs look very nice.

Im not a protoss, so im looking for weaknesses to abuse if i identify this.

As you stated stabilising the third base is more important than anything. I'm only in Diamond. But I do have some multitasking ability.

But my scouting or reading skills in ZvP are very bad. (I never get a full scout, so i only get partial information which in the end renders me non-the-wiser).

For me, i have had a lot of success in ZvP recently due to getting ovi speed with my first 100 gas (i get my gas around the 3 minute mark). If i do this then i see literally everything. Sending in 2, sometimes 3 ovi's. They will always come out unscathed and the research time is very short.

I am no longer in the dark when it comes to 4 gate attacks off 2 base. I see if there is a forge researching. If a robo is down early to prepare for a immo/sentry allin etc.

Also i patrol ovis on the edges of the map to spot for drops. And should you go phoenix they are fast enough to return home before dying.

For zergs:

If i were to see this it looks a lot like immo/sentry opening from the 5-6 minute mark. So i would continue to mass drone on 3 base, but get speed with my next 100 gas (after ovi speed). So that would put my speed completing around the same time the nexus goes down.

I think if at the 7 minute mark you don't see a ton of gateways and then spot the double stargate, mass speedling should be the way to go. And since you see the robo but no immortals when you got your full scout, a spore in each base and adding additional queens would be preferable.

Again i think ovi speed is not a wasted resource in this matchup. Saved my ass many times. Plus i rarely get supply blocked now since they never die.

This is a technical build with the premise built on deception because to me looks like the opening of an immo/sentry train and then hits you with harass (possible ramp block for a gg) and expands behind it. Perfect strategy. So the counter is just keeping it together. Hitting injects, not getting supply blocked and once you see no immo and no gates, flood. The plus 1 for the zealots starts at the same time as the nexus goes down so no 2 hits for lings for a while. Of course all this is much easier said than done. Glhf

(My views are from the standpoint of a diamond scrub, GM's no need to rip me a new one ^ __ ^ )

overlord speed is never a wasted resource imho

Yep. But i have heard strong arguments against getting so early. But i guess it all comes down to how you like to play.

In this build for Protoss you get your MSC at 7:30 which is much later than i am used to dealing with. Normally i am harassed very early by a zealot and stalker accompanied by the orb in the sky. So it is a stylistic thing.
