Hey I just have a general question about PvT. (High gold/ low plat player) What is your general thought process about upgrades? Against Zerg and Protoss I push all the weapons upgrades before armor.. but against Terran I don't think that's the correct idea.

Also what was the turning point for you to get out of the metal leagues? What did you start doing differently?

As far as upgrades in PvT, I've been going double forge a lot recently with a later 3rd.

I'm also not sure what the turning points was to get out the metal leagues. I just try to play as much as possible and focus on improving. then one day i was good enough I suppose :P

Hi jaypower, just a bit of criticism here. The video is really really long for what you're trying to achieve. And then theres a 2nd part which makes it even longer.

The video is very in depth but I quickly lost interest in it after the first 5 minutes. Id suggest adding some music so that it doesn't get stagnant after a while and maybe shorten the video. Thanks for this video :D

Thanks for the feedback! Always apreciate it. I'm not sure how I can keep the viewer's interest with these types of videos (just raw uncut replay analysis, not heavily edited and short mini-guide), I feel like I was talking all the time about something relevant to the replay I was talking about.

Is it too much obvious information (like how I talked about scouting after gate/gas, building placement or going on about the immortal drop etc)? I imagine since you're master league you already know a lot I talked about in the video.

I will add some background music to future videos for sure and!

edit: Also the 2nd part is only half the length of this one, skipping a lot of things I already mentioned

To keep the interest, you should try and do jump cuts. Those focus on the relevant important parts. This style is good for quick videos. If you want to keep doing 10+ minute Videos, definitely add some background music. As for the information, you went really in depth and thats not bad for long videos but if you're going to go in depth, You should probably do a text post. With proper formatting, they can be more effective than a video.

Also one more little thing, try to be more energetic because sometimes it sounded like you were reading off of something. It won't hurt to have more energy in your voice :)

Thanks again for the feedback! Will work on the points you mentioned. You think people would be interested in reading a written piece with maybe some images to point some things out?

Really having a hard time sounding energetic / enthusiastic, mb I should try to "fake" it and see how goes.

Certainly! I've written some text guides in the past

Those are the ones I've done, didn't have many pictures but one had a first person VoD which not a lot of people do. Its quite valuable because instead of you explaining your thought process in voice (you will explain in the text), you let them experience your thought process first hand.

I would for sure. I really like the Team Liquid guides and the one you did on your site for Macsed's pvz was good.

I was actually very interested and watched all the way till the end of the video! Please don't go crazy with the jump cuts; I've seen them from vloggers and the effect comes across as really annoying.

Thank you for all of your guides! They've been really helpful.
