How does the sequencing of different death related effects work post-naxx?

Hypothetical scenario:

Player A is playing warlock, has Voidcaller and Cult Master on the field, no demons in hand (but his next draw is a demon), and the secret Redemption (obtained via cho) in play.

If player B kills Voidcaller I'd expect Cult Master to trigger first, drawing the demon which would then be summoned by Voidcaller's deathrattle. What I don't know however is whether the secret would trigger before the deathrattle.

I know that scenario is a bit ridiculous, but there have been a few occaisions in the mage class challenge where I've been left thinking "what the hell just happened?".

Another scenario:

You have a mad scientist (played first) and an abomination of the board with redemption in play. Your opponent uses flamestrike.

  • Which minion is returned?

  • Does redemption trigger before abomination's deathrattle?

  • If it triggers on mad scientist, could the original mad scientist put avenge into play and buff the new mad scientist causing it to survive abomination's deathrattle?

I could be wrong, but my understanding is that it's a FIFO (first in, first out) stack. So what would happen:

  • Mad Scientist and the Abom take 4 damage and die.
  • Both deathrattle effects are added to the stack.
  • Since MS was out before the Abom, first you get a secret.
  • Then Abom's rattle fires and all creatures take 2 damage.
  • Redemption triggers and brings back the Scientist.

Similar thing happened to me. Had a damaged sunwalker, then played an ooze, got Flamestriked, and the new secret gave me two sunwalkers.
