Better Cities - Skyrim Beta Testing

So hey.

Some of you may remember the thread detailing BC project, what it was, and what we needed help with and such, which was posted around a month ago here

Now we're looking for people to beta test Solitude, as we've been working hard and have now pretty much finished up all current interiors for Solitude, we've also merged with Nernie's Solitude, and I've been prettying up his interiors as they were rather bland before, around half of Nernie's Solitude interiors are done.

Once I've finished up the rest of the interiors, I will finish the Solitude main street, which still needs some work, we will then merge with a bathhouse mod and then I will hand the mod back over to Twarrior (The main guy working on Solitude), who will finish up the NPCs and AI.

But currently, we're in need of people to help in any way possible, whatever modding talent you may have, it's probably going to be helpful to us. However, for people who don't have any particular modding skills but would still like to help, the current version of BC Solitude needs people to beta test the interiors of the mod, around 10 or so cells are currently finished and in need of testing, more are soon to come from new houses being added.

TL;DR - Mod testers needed, no experience required, PM me on reddit or on the Skyrim nexus (Nexus preferred), modders also needed.

If anybody is wondering exactly what the Beta testing invloves, here's a long description of it:

(TL;DR at the bottom)

First we need you to remove any mods that modify Solitude specifically (in any way) from your load order, so mods such as "Complete Solitude", "Nernie's Solitude", "Solitude-Capital edition", or mods part of a bigger package such as "Nernie's city and village expansion", these should all be removed. Mods such as "ELFX" and "Interesting NPCs" can be left in your game, as we want to test compatibility with them, and any mods that change small things in lots of places are fine (such as Requiem). So, most mods are fine, just don't use any other Solitude overhauls during the test.

Once you have done this, load up Skyrim as usual, however make sure to load a save NOT inside Solitude, any building in Solitude, or just outside of Solitude, to be safe just load a save far away from Solitude. If you like, you can start a new game, it's up to you, but make sure to tell us in the bug report whether this is an old character or a fresh save.

Once you have loaded the save/started a new save, press the tilde key (to the left of the 1 key and underneath the Esc key), this will bring up the console, type in (without quotes) "coc KatlasFarm" This will bring you to Katla's farm just outside Solitude. Exit the farm, and head up the road to Solitude, then enter the city, next you simply have to run around and enter all the new buildings added by the mod (there are around 7 or so), run through the buildings, talk the NPCs, check everything works, see if you can break anything, look for anything that seems odd or out of place, look for things you think need improving or areas that could have something added to them. When you find something that meets any of these criteria, hit the tilde key again, type in a short message of what you think needs improving or is bugged, take a screenshot (F12 by default with Steam) and send it to me via Nexus or Reddit, I'll make good use of any feedback to change and improve the mod.

Cells that need testing:

BCSolitudeCosmopolitanHearth

BCSolitudeGaBulHouse

BCSolitudeJeweler

BCSolitudeLaurusHouse

BCSolitudeMilitaryBar

BCSolitudeRufusHouse

If you like you can run around the city and find them yourself, however if you cannot find some of the buildings or want to save time then just hit the tilde key, type Coc (name of cell you want to teleport to) This current Beta test is only testing these interiors, other places are still being heavily worked on and we already know of most of the bugs in places such as the main street, so testing that is not currently needed.

This is a very in depth description of something that is actually very simple, so don't be disheartened as this is actually pretty simple and should only take a small amount of time.

TL;DR - Disable Solitude overhauls, run around Solitude, take screenshots of bugs and things that you think need improving and send to me.
