I have to say I thought shockadin was on its way out but I have been playing it quite a bit over the last few days and have been doing well. I'm generally tearing up midrange hunters. It feels like the zoo matchup has gotten better in the post-naxx era, and it still seems to ruin miracle just fine.

I'm running the traditional shockadin. No naxx cards.

Try swapping the single loot hoarder in this list with a brewmaster. Most of the cards in the deck get a lot of replay value and are cheap to play. I think of it as a buffed loot hoarder that lets me draw a card on the board

I actually just swapped him and the wolf rider out for dancing swords and they are absolutely murdering. Love them. I like the ideas... I'll try to fit in a brewmaster somewhere.

I added Dancing swords for Divine favor synergy. I feel blessing of kings is too slow for shockadin.

Ye i think i will do the same.. Seems pretty solid

I took a different type of aggro Paladin to legend earlier this week, and I think any type of Aggro Paladin is certainly viable right now.

My deck was built in preparation for Avenge and requires early board control because it isn't as reckless. IMO it does better against control/taunt decks and is a little worse against Miracle. Here's the list: deck

Would you mind posting your list man?

I already did. It's in my post

what do you plan on taking out for avenge?

Probably 1 Blessing of Might and 1 Coldlight Oracle

Man, I wish I hadnt disenchanted so many shockadin cards. Thought it was done for after the Naxx expansion, so I RIP'd double arcane golem, double divine favor, and one coldlight oracle. But now that I think about it, it might actually be really good. Might have to spend 500 dust recrafting it all...ugh...

I've seen a couple very similar decks with wisp on the ladder, and I wonder why exactly does it use wisp ? Even the boar seems better than wisp to my noobish eyes. The only reason I can come up with is because it's nice to dump the wisps after a divine favour setting up a second divine favour, but does that happen often enough that it's worth it ?

Assuming you are spending all your mana every turn (not that difficult with aggro Paladin) then any time that you play Wisp in a game before a Divine Favor you were able to draw an extra card for free. Being able to cycle as many cards as possible with Divine Favor is huge because Aggro Paladin still needs to find its key cards and combos.

Not only that, but Paladin isn't the best at generating tempo so being able to play Wisp along with your 1 or 2 drop in the early turns is actually a big deal in some matchups.

Also, once Avenge is available, it increases the chances it has a target when your opponent is trading.

Avenge would be a great card post nax. Just chop off the wolfriders or a wolfrider and a blessing of might.

Kings also feels really slow. I'd replace both kings with 1 Mukla and a dancing swords or two.

It might also be worth adding a single Mad Scientist if a deck running 2x Avenge works well.

Sludge Belcher single-handedly makes many matchups much much worse. I think reaching legend now, especially that miracle is on the decline would be extremely difficult, if at all possible.

I've been climbing with a shockadin deck. I'm only at 8 right now, but I've had way more success than previous seasons and I think its because the deck is really strong right now.

My list is a little different than yours though.

Cut:

Jugglers - seemed kind of slow and they often died before they get to shoot more than 1 knife

Blessing of Kings - 4 mana was already pretty crowded and the health wasn't that important

Avenging Wrath - I found that this card sits dead in my hand pretty often so I cut it and filled it in with lower cost cards

Added:

Worgen Infiltrator - helped maximize my curve in turns 1-3 where its really important to get dudes on the board

1x Repentance - this is purely an anti druid and anti handlock tech. Drop it before turn 4 against handlock to catch a drake or a giant. Druid is a bit harder to predict because of innervates.

Hammer of Wrath - When your opponent starts to stabilize they will often be at <10 hp behind some big taunts. This can get around the taunts and make a push for the win.

I've noticed that I've had a way easier time with zoo after naxx. Eggs and spiders are powerful, but really slow the deck down and give you plenty of turns to hit face before they can try to stabilize.
