HTC's new flagship phone is designed to take over Japan

Honestly the best way they should of approached Japan was allow the phone to transform into a miniature robot capable of miniature justice.

looks pretty shitty in my opinion. specs are average though.

In my opinion, this phone looks horribly ugly. That's shocking, considering that so many of HTC's phones look so damn beautiful.

I really hope that the M8's successor is waterproof. That will make me switch in a heartbeat.

Maybe Taiwan and the Mainland can reconcile over their mutual desire to enslave Japan

Oh No! Its Godzilla

Uglier than the original Butterfly. And from what we've seen of HTC's 13MP shooter on the 816 and M8 mini, it's going to be the same grade as those other 13MP shooters you see on $200 Chinese knockoffs. I seriously don't know why HTC still exists as a major brand. The M8 was literally just the M7 with a slightly bigger screen and processor and the same lackluster camera. It has no display tech of i ts own, no fingerprint scanner, or heartrate monitor, laser autofocus, waterproofing, low bezel design, or pretty much any features unique to them. The metal design was about the only thing unique to HTC, and they ruined it with the Butterfly, and none of their other phones have it unless you count really cheap faux versions of it. Maybe I've been reading too many posts on tech blogs year after year about how much they are losing money and not selling anything and how their stock is worthless and their execs and talent are all in disarray, coming and going. I also forget to mention how bleh Windows Phone looks on the M8 and all they did was slap a new firmware. You would think they would improve the hardware a bit at least. Nope. They stopped trying years ago, for any of their phones.
