What are your weird feelings of soccer?

What are some feelings that you have about soccer (football) that aren't necessarily 100% true but they seem that way? (Inspired by a thread on RedCafe).

For example:

• Every Ligue 1 match on television involves PSG playing either Lorient or Evian
• Pirlo has been 34 years old since 2008
• Every manager below the Premier League is a former club captain of his team
• Claudio Pizarro and Roque Santa Cruz have never started a match in their careers
• Lazio and Napoli are the same club.
• Ivory Coast are considered "dark horses" in every tournament they participate in.
• Any striker from a West African country playing the Premier League is described as 'powerful'.
• Portuguese teams seemingly always find their way to at least the semi-finals of the Europa League
• Osasuña is a ghost team. They have been in La Liga from 2000 to 2014 but no one has any idea of what their kit, stadium looks like
