When having your own team lose mmr is more important than winning, you have proven you shouldn't be playing ranked.

Yea. It would be a bold stance from valve to prove this is not acceptable. Ranked is supposed to be competitive, this person clearly does not care about his rating/trying to improve. You can't change this person's view of the game, so take away their ability to ruin the game for others. By weeding out these people from ranked, we all get a better experience.

Yea there is no coming back if your teammate feeds enemy with couriers. Cant really stop that.

what's funny is that we were winning. He build a midas into pipe as well. We asked him to teamfight with us at least once, he said "fuck you dont tell me what to do"

but you are denying your team's gold this way, because if you just abandoned the game the gold you had would be split between your teammates who remained ingame. however if you afk in fountain and are feeding couriers you sold all your items just to buy a lot of couriers and that gold cannot be retrieved by your team. you basically remove your networth from your team AND give enemy team a ton of gold.
