ACOK random stat drop
whats the current version of ACOK like as far as the random questions that drop your stats go? I was loving that mod a while back but the stat BS ran me off. I was hoping to pick it up again.

I love random events like that, but ones that set you back an entire level are just too much :/
Whenever it happens I just tweak my character files to give me the point back. Very easy to do, just takes like 30 seconds

I always have to reload the game for changes to take effect, is there something I'm doing wrong?
This is through export/import right?

yep, and yeah you gotta reload the game. the random events dont really happen often enough for it to really bother me, so i'm fine with it.

ACOK has been getting more annoying recently. I lost like 6 skill points for no reason, I can't use spears or lances anymore because they break after poking someone twice, and I start with garbad skills compared to any other mod.

It's fairly aggressive. I am currently recording a playthrough of it for youtube and I've probably been hit with 10 or 11 total point drops in 950 days or so of play. I just edit them out. I am annoyed by them but love the mod, so why not just take out the things that I don't like?
Warband is the game you make it to be. If you find something you don't like, change it!
