Hey gents, any thoughts regarding Bayern's transfer policy? Obviously, it's nice to have Lewandowski and Gotze in the squad short-term, but what does it mean for the Bundesliga in the long run? And should Bayern care?
In terms of which talent to purchase, buying within the Bundesliga is great because it means that the players don't have to adjust to life in Germany and play in the Bundesliga. In terms of competition, it might not be great, but the board shouldn't be apologetic that the club thrives financially and is capable of buying the talent.
Well, I think the argument would be that while the top clubs in other leagues sign talent from elsewhere in their own league, they aren't (for the most part) signing players from their rivals like Bayern has done with Dortmund and Leverkusen in the past.
In other words, Barca doesn't sign players from Real...Chelsea from Man U., etc, etc. Then again, those clubs would likely sign players from the other clubs if they could..Bayern just happens to have the financial resources and the clout domestically to do so.
I think making a value judgment here would be a mistake...It's not right or wrong..They're just doing what they are able to do to give them the best advantage (it also should be said that this wouldn't be possible if the players themselves weren't willing to make the move). However, it does raise a bit of concern, for me at least, about the long-term competitiveness of the league
The Bundesliga stays the same in the long term. If Lewandowski doesn't choose Bayern, he leaves BVB and goes abroad. Bayern either sticks with Mandzukic or buys another world class player from abroad. Same thing with Goetze.
Ultimately, these Bundesliga clubs will lose their talent regardless and Bayern will find world class in other leagues if the Bundesliga options are dim.

Why does Bayern get so much hate for that? Other clubs do this too.
I saw a German comment that he/she supports any German Club that's playing against clubs from other leagues except Bayern.
