Strapless options for bigger busts?

Recommendations?

Looking for a bra option for a dress I'm wearing at a couple weddings. this is the dress in question. I bought it for a couple outdoor weddings I'm going to. I recently got sized and I am a 42E. I'm looking for some options for bras to wear with this dress. The thing is, I have recently lost a pretty considerable amount of weight(almost at 30 lbs right now!) and don't want to invest too much money, as a lot of my clothes won't be fitting soon. Are there any options you gals can think of that are relatively low cost? The thing about buying bras at larger sizes is that they come with a significantly larger pricetag >.<

Any help would be appreciated!

If you are an E cup and consider yourself busty you might want to revisit your size

You think? I went to a pretty good bra store to have a sizing done and they sized me at a E or F, depending on the bra. I have found since then that those sizes fit well. I don't mind doing a home measurement though.

I might be worth checking with the sizing guide on the sidebar, with strapless if you are in too big a band to compensate for too small a cup is going to make for a annoying fit.

An E or F means a 6 or 7 inch difference between underbust and full bust. That isn't tiny, but usually isn't in the range where ladies consider themselves really big either this is an example of a 40E/F http://www.brabandproject.com/gallery/view/id/459

So it might be worth checking before you buy a strapless that might slide down a lot.

Hmmmm ok, I will size myself tonight and see what comes of it. The thing that has been so crazy is that my body is changing a lot so I don't want to invest too much money into new bras before I get down to my ideal weight(I still have about 30 pounds and change to go before that happens)

I understand! I am between sizes too, and just bit the bullet and got some to tide me over

But bradatabase and braswap have some options...

Rather than just a strapless bra, you might try a strapless torsolette? Can't link because I'm on my phone, but basically get what you'd wear under a wedding dress. Your dress flares out at the waist so the torsolette wouldn't be noticeable. You can usually find one on eBay for less than $40. Ever since I had to buy one to wear for my wedding, I've only worn those under strapless dresses because they offer a TON more support and you don't have to keep tugging them up, plus they make your waist look good.

Hm, thanks for the tip! I like the idea of not having to tug at a bra all night, for sure.

I think this bra is probably your best bet.

Thanks! I can't seem to find a price anywhere on it, but I think I will go to one of the suggested retailers that carries this bra and explain my situation, I think they'll have some ideas.

Nordstrom doesn't carry that bra in-store (it's online), but they do carry many Elomi bras. You could try on at least a couple in the brand to make sure that's your size in Elomi and then have them order it for your from Nordstrom.com. They do free shipping and you can return it in the store, so you could potentially order two sizes.
