Maybe I'll try with some munchies and hope that helps.  The acid seems like a likely culprit.  I just downed some alka-seltzer and that helped a bit.  Thanks for the input!  

I know people who have this problem too, they just stopped drinking it for the most part. do you drink with food or on an empty stomach? that might cause it to hurt more. 
edit: it's acidic i believe which may be causing that pain

I don't drink much at all, but over the past few weeks I've been getting stomach aches after drinking any amount of red wine. I can only make it through a few sips before it starts. I keep hoping it's something else, but it keeps coming back to red wine. Is it anything I should go to the doc about or just stop drinking wine?
