(Spoilers Published) Why I think Penny will not be in Game of Thrones

First I would like to say that I have not read any of the TWOW chapters incase anything happens in that which would change my mind This thought came to me while I was thinking of who I think is most likely not to make it into the show and I came to thinking , is penny really needed in the show. Even though I like the character I believe there is no point in adding her just for the sake of adding her when there could be so much more added instead. This is why I dont think she is needed, I think her main purpose was to distract and eventually cheer up Tyrion a bit as he was getting very depressing. Why is he like that, because of the scene with him and Jaime about Tysha and after that he is a different man. With them taking out that scene I cant see Tyrion being as sad as he was so therefore I dont see a need in having to add Penny to shine some of her innocence on him. Also I think the scene at the purple wedding was mostly put in for fan service along with making Tyrion angry and seem guilty. Not that I would be against adding her I just dont see the point unless she is meant to play a big role in the future. This was really just me thinking in shower and is my first post on this subreddit which I have been following for awhile so if I made any mistakes or anything please point them out.
