Noob question after looking at some high level builds.

New

So I've been looking at some of the builds of the higher level DH and noticed that none of them have any hatred regen spells.

How do they get anyway with this because I don't understand it at all.

Check the build section related to sentries.

With sentry and marauder 6 pieces, the DH doesn't need a lot of hatred, he consums hatred when he drop sentry and sometimes, he fires. The main job is to survive.

That's the marauder sentry build (M6). All the damages are done by the pets and sentries. Sentries with M6 would fire your spenders. So, many of us have 3 spenders to get max damage. The only time I fire manually is by mistake.
