I could probably mess around with it after class, but it doesn't sound like an extreme issue. It just sounds like there's an issue with bytes not being converted into a text paste. (UTF-8 and Byte Strings)

Whenever you drag &amp; drop a piece of text from eg. Firefox it will have ? in the place of äåöëè and other characters that are non-ascii.

The text will be displayed correctly if you just copy &amp; paste. They should really fix this. It's been there for a few years now? I don't even remember.

Anyone else seen this bug?
