##Introduction

Welcome to Phobia, organized by ShutUpBrick and Crimson5M!

Phobia is an Ultra Hardcore group that exposes its players to a new fear each season. Last season, players faced Monophobia—the fear of being alone—in a Mystery Teams game where they tried desperately to find their teammates.

This season, players must fight their own fear of fire—Pyrophobia—in a map where all water and ice has been replaced with lava. There is absolutely no way to obtain water! All mobs are affected with fire resistance, making them unfazed by the change. Obsidian can still be found underground, and sugarcane can be obtained from decaying leaves.

Which team will shine, and which teams will burn? Find out in this fiery season of Phobia!

  • Golden heads and absorption disabled

  • Nether enabled, with potions unobtainable

So 3+ UHCs airing this week. Looks like I'll spend fewer minutes doing homework than Dibz gets sleep.

Fun fact about this gamemode...

In my original idea, skeletons were to have a high chance to spawn with flame bows, all zombies would spawn permanently on fire (so if they hit you there's a large chance you'd ignite), and witch spawns were to be replaced with blazes.

We went against this idea because we didn't want it just to become another gamemode where people avoided the dark, like Nightmare Mode. Plus it would probably be much harder than Nightmare Mode.
