By the way, it isn't in flake form but hand pressed. I was surprised by that and wasn't sure how to smoke it, but I found a way. :-)

Broken flake if it's like past years blends. It takes some getting used to, at least for me.

This year's offering is the first time I have purchased this. Is it really worth cellering this or should I open and enjoy it now?

Why not both? I usually get at least 2 tins when I buy something for trying it new and aged.

I haven't tried any of the previous years offerings, but everything I've read about the Christmas cheers is that they only get better with age.

Well... how's is it?

Haha, I thought I put some text with my pic, but apparently not. It has a nutmeg smell and taste. It's very smooth. I might buy two more, one to share and one to smoke in a few years. :)

Interesting. It's putting me in the Christmassy spirit.

I just ordered a tin through p&c yesterday. How'd you like it?

Cant wait to pick that up. Looking forward to trying this years...in a few more years. I need to save up the funds to have one to smoke and one to cellar.

Hope it's good, I need to order a couple tins to cellar. They usually need 6 months to a year on the Virginias.
