en.wikipedia.orgOne of the ideas bouncing around here is we pick a woman developer (or just a developer) of the week and pin the post in support. Maybe go out and buy a game, or link to where you can buy it? Would tweeting support with #gamergate be a good idea?

Bad one to pick.
She's the mastermind behind the IGF racketeering scheme where devs were charged to enter into a rigged awards ceremony. Their entry fees were siphoned into Polytron's award (a company that she and several IGF judges invested in).
Kellee Santiago is a crook and her dishonest profiteering is the kind of thing we are fighting against.

Actually it was Indiecade in this case, not IGF. Yeah that whole situation seems really shady.
She invested money Fez, which won an award at Indiecade, where she was a judge that worked with voters.

It's been a while since I watched cameralady's video. I know Fez won IGF in 2012, though.

Would Roberta Williams, of King's Quest, be a better choice? I'm not sure if there's any controversy with her. But none that I'm aware of.

I don't know why we would boost devs and drag them into this without their consent.
Journey is proof of an "arthouse" game made by a woman that was lauded by almost every gamer under the sun. It proves false the idea that DQ et al are being bashed because they were made by a woman.
