Grad Students and Professors: What are my chances?
I am trying to put together a list of programs to which I will apply.. It was a recent decision to go down the I/O path, so I am fairly nervous/underconfident in knowing which programs I want to apply to.
Here are my credentials:
- Major GPA: 3.64; Reg GPA: 3.52
- Taking the Psych GRE saturday..
- GRE-V: 70th percentile; GRE-Q: 25th percentile (I know, terrible. but I am retaking the GRE after I finish my GRE prep course, so hopefully it will go up)
- Graduating with Psych Honors: completing my honors thesis project on a cognitive psych topic
- Won a research scholarship for my honors project
- Presented my research at numerous conferences, but no publication
- I have also taken a higher level statistics course
So far, my interests are in leadership and decision making. I plan to apply to App State's IOHRM Masters program and Doctoral programs at Penn State, Akron Univ., Colorado State, and Central Michigan State. In your experience, what are my chances of getting into any of these programs?
Thank you all!
