Respect Stardust (Herald of Galactus)

Respect Stardust

Lambda-Zero, known primarily by his herald name of Stardust, is a ruthless herald of Galactus and is probably the last surviving member of his race, the Ethereals, beings of pure energy.

• Stardust's Nova Corps Entry

• The history & origin of Stardust.

It is unclear weather Stardust is a male or a female. Some refer to Stardust as a male and others as a female. Being an energy being, Stardust is most likely just sexless. I will refer to Stardust as a 'he' simply because that's what the other heralds refer to Stardust in terms of sex.

• Wielder of the Power Cosmic
• Cosmic Awareness/Senses
• Energy Absorption/Manipulation/Projection
• Regeneration/Reformation
• Gravity Manipulation
• Dimensional Portal Creation
• Super Strength
• Super Speed
• Superhuman Durability
• Superhuman Stamina

---

Cosmic Awareness

• Stardust can project live events happening elsewhere in the cosmos.

• Stardust senses energy. Though in this case the energy signature was hidden by the cosmic entity Epoch, who is the protector of Cosmic Awareness in the universe, which explains how it escaped Stardust's senses.

---

Energy Absorption, Manipulation & Projection

• Laser-like attacks simply bounce off Stardust. With a wave of his halberd, Stardust incinerates some Korbinites.

• Beta Ray Bill's drones' energy attacks slip right through Stardust. With a wave of his hand, Stardust destroys the drones.

• Stardust can release bursts of omni-directional cosmic energy for offense.

• Stardust can release energy beams from his (many) eyes.

• Beta Ray Bill seemingly scorches himself from touching Stardust. In the same series, BRB was completely fine inside a star.

• Stardust releases energy from his hands while touching Beta Ray Bill, causing Bill to scream out in pain.

• Stardust stalemates Beta Ray Bill in a release of energy from Stormbreaker and Stardust's halberd.

• Again Stardust and Beta Ray Bill stalemate each other in energy projection.

• Stardust and some other heralds destroy Annihilation Wave ships.

• Stardust and Red Shift (another herald of Galactus) briefly stop a large powerful beam of energy released from Galactus when Galactus was being used as a weapon in Annihilation. The beam would over power them.

• Stardust massacres the last survivors of his race. Stardust reduces them to "cosmic ash".

• After massacring his race, Stardust absorbs what was left of them into him.

• Stardust releases what was absorbed of his people, and feeds the energy to Galactus. Stardust is extremely loyal to Galactus. And he's a ruthless psychopath.

---

Durability/Regeneration/Reformation

• In the previously mentioned beam of energy released from Galactus that over powered and seemingly destroyed Stardust and Red Shift, Stardust actually survived the beam and reformed himself from a "billion shattered pieces" after the Annihilation event. When he reformed, he found himself 'just' outside of the Andromeda Galaxy. As far is as known, Red Shift died in the attack.

• Stardust explains that physical force cannot truly kill him as he can always reform himself.

• Stardust withstands being smashed between Galactus' hands. Beta Ray Bill was knocked out by the attack.

• Stardust survives being blasted by a combination of his and Beta Ray Bill's energy that was absorbed and released from Stormbreaker.

• Stardust withstands being bull-rushed into a planet by Beta Ray Bill. The planet is destroyed from the impact. Stardust further withstands being struck by his own halberd and Stormbreaker. In the aftermath, Beta Ray Bill was a bit scuffed up. Stardust reformed in a new color, completely fine.

• Beta Ray Bill bites Stardust's hand off, but Stardust grows it back. Stardust also withstand Beta Ray Bill beat down on him.

• Stardust withstands being struck by Stormbreaker, moving at speeds high enough to loop several times around a planet and back to where BRB and Stardust were fighting.

• Stardust withstands being attacked by beams of energy from Beta Ray Bill's sentient ship, Skuttlebutt.

• Stardust withstands having Beta Ray Bill slam him into a nearby planet, drop on top of him, and strike him multiple times with Stormbreaker. Stardust tells BRB that the physical strikes cannot kill him.

• Stardust and Beta Ray Bill withstand having the planet underneath them explode.

• Stardust's race, the Ethereals, lived inside stars.

• Stardust survives being blasted by a Power Cosmic-enhanced Johnny Storm and further withstands being caught between two singularities.

• Stardust easily reforms himself after Storm scatters him with a lightning bolt. As for how Storm achieved scattering someone like Stardust, this is from the same story where Black Panther held the Surfer in an armlock.

---

Speed

• Stardust is caught in a black hole and it appears as if he's sucked into it. Stardust did, however, escape the black hole, as he would later appear in Annihilation.

• In his natural form, Stardust could move at light-speed, but can move at faster-than-light speeds with the Power Cosmic.

• Traveling at FTL speeds with Beta Ray Bill.

---

Strength

• Stardust bull-rushes Asteroth through a planet, destroying the planet.

• Stardust can at least nearly match Beta Ray Bill in strength.

---

Black Hole and Dimensional Portal Creation

• Stardust opens a dimensional doorway to a "Cosmic Hell" in an attempt to get rid of Beta Ray Bill. Stardust can close these portals just as he can open them.

• Stardust opens a black hole in an attempt to get rid of Asteroth.

---

Force Fields

• Stardust forms a force field around himself to avoid the debris from a chunk of a destroyed planetoid thrown at him and Bill.

• Stardust traps Ben Grimm in a force field and launches the force field into the nearest star (until the Surfer asks to stop).
