I got to try out Splatoon multiplayer on the weekend, it was sooo much fun. And this makes me even more excited!

60 FPS trailer on Nintendo's Japanese channel. Dunno why they only put up 30 FPS in English, especially since there's no text so they're the exact same trailer anyway.

Octopii have incredible regeneration skills. My theory is that they're all parts of the final boss, slowly mutilating himself to create an army
Also there are octorok and blooper cameos!

Well the whole object of the game is to paint more than the other team. They'd have to be AFK for you to get 100% though.

Squids vs. Octopii! The aesthetic looks a bit like de Blob mixed with Oddworld.
I was worried there wouldn't be a singleplayer, this looks rad. Would be cool if it had a challenging level of platforming too.
looks like there are some neat patformy paint puzzles
They confirmed quite a while back that there would be a single-player campaign, we just didn't have specifics until now.
Anyway, looks very different from the multiplayer. Kinda reminds me of Super Mario Galaxy, and it looks as though the levels are specifically designed to show off/teach players advanced movement tricks. Pretty cool stuff.
