How to help a newly retired Vet?

Hello reddit, my brother retired from the AF a few months ago. He was in since 2007, and as many soldiers do he is having issues being outside the military. He is living with us until he can afford a place. He was going to school to become a cop, and had everything all ready with the local PD so he could be hired after he took the test. Well at 530am his car was towed with no notice or call afterwards that it was. They came 5 minutes before he left for school. My mother and sister spoke with the company after he did both offering to co-sign a refinance so he could get it back, and they refused. They will not work with him. So now he lost his car, has no money, and no one will hire him. How do I help him? Who can I call or write? Are there any groups that can help him? Thanks in advance!

TL;DR Brother retired a few months ago, lost his car today, has no money and can't get a job. How do I help him?

Edit we live in Tampa Florida if that helps.

He's not home right now so I'll have to ask later, but our mom said he isn't retired he was moved from active to reserve status. Sorry I thought he said he separated due to medical issues from being deployed.
