Prog Album of the Week - Week 63 (12/03/2014): Jethro Tull - Songs From the Wood
As always, we encourage participation from everyone - if you've never heard the album, there's a YouTube link provided! Go check it out and report back!
Welcome to the sixty-third week of r/progrockmusic's Album of the Week! Last week we discussed Van Der Graaf Generator's H to He, Who Am the Only One and that was lovely.
If you'd like to peruse previous weeks' discussions, please visit the archive.
Jethro Tull goes full-on Folk.

####Potential Discussion Questions:
-
Now that we've discussed a decent amount of Jethro Tull, how do we all feel about this switch from early-70's progginess to late-70's folkiness? It felt a bit inevitable, didn't it? Anyway, this record is one of a trilogy of folk records (the other two being Heavy Horses and Stormwatch); how does this album compare to the two albums that followed it?
-
How would you personally rate the album?
-
Are there any moments on the album you consider particularly strong or particularly weak (i.e., favourite/least favourite moments)?
