Respect Jo2uke Higashikata (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Jojolion)

anime/manga

Josuke Higashikata, the current protagonist of the long-running manga Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, is a Japanese amnesiac of unknown age--presumably late teens to early twenties.

Found buried underground with no knowledge of his identity in the wake of the 2011 earthquake and tsunami, the young man quickly befriends his discoverer, Yasuho Hirose. She arranges for her longtime friends, the Higashikata family, to give him a place to stay, and the family patriarch gives him the name "Josuke". Soon afterwards, he sets out on a quest to discover his true identity, and becomes embroiled in a web of mystery and conspiracy involving strange men made out of stone, psychic powers, the mummified corpse of Jesus Christ, and a grown man who is really into collecting beetles.

(His fan nickname, "Jo2uke", arose because he is the second protagonist of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure to carry the name "Josuke Higashikata")

And now for an explanation of his powers:

Stands are invisible spirits manifested through the psychic energy of their users. They are only visible to those who possess them, and each one grants a unique set of superpowers to its user. Any damage done to a stand will be done to the user on the corresponding location on his or her body, but only stands can damage other stands.

Josuke's stand, Soft and Wet--named after the Prince song--grants him the ability to produce bubbles either from his hands or the birthmark on his shoulder. These bubbles can steal any one characteristic from any object they touch, which is then released when the bubble bursts. In exchange for this dangerous ability, Soft and Wet's body can only be manifested within a 1-2 meter range of Josuke.

Other Notable Stands:

Born This Way: a "remote-control" type long-range stand. These types of stands can only perform simple tasks, but, in exchange, their users do not suffer the damage they suffer. Born This Way manifests itself when a target opens something, and summons freezing winds while attempting to run them down with its motorcycle.

I Am a Rock: Another close-range power type stand like Josuke's. If I Am a Rock's user touches someone, he can select one type of object--such as a propane tank--and every object matching that description for hundreds of meters around will gradually accelerate towards the core of the target's body. The only way to stop the objects from falling towards you is to move several meters away from the user.

Unique Individuals:

Yotsuyu Yagiyama, I Am a Rock's user, can turn his skin to stone.

Feats:

Strength:

Soft and Wet destroys the wall of an apartment with a kick (also doubles as a creativity feat; Josuke stole the sound from the wall so his opponent wouldn't notice his escape)

Soft and Wet blocks a sign launched at him by Born This Way

While injured, Josuke jumps up and kicks Born This Way in the face, sending it flying several meters

Manages to stay on his feet while being pushed backwards by Born This Way

Soft and Wet briefly manages to counteract the gravitational pull generated by I Am a Rock

Speed

Soft and Wet punches quickly enough that it appears to have five arms

Soft and Wet KO's Born This Way's user before it can fall about a foot onto Josuke's head

Knocks Yotsuyu Yagiyama away with a flurry of punches before he can touch him

Endurance/Pain Tolerance:

Continues fighting after having his eyes frozen and his side stabbed through with a pencil (note that this happened moments before he jumpkicked Born This Way the fuck out)

Continues pushing back against Born This Way even as its front tire is grinding him up (this occured only minutes after the previous endurance feat)

Continues fighting even after thorns stab into his eyes
