Got a BSOD and now my laptop won't boot
So I was on my laptop when it froze up, then went to this blue screen. So I force shut down my laptop once it finished dumping and and tried to boot it. It went to the typical screen you get when it doesn't shut down properly and so I told it to boot. It went to the loading screen and then hung there for 20 minutes. So I shut it down and tried again to the same result. So I tried to boot into Safe Mode and was able to, but I'm not sure what to do now. I read that this error code means that it has a problem with the graphics driver, but it is running the same most recent driver it has been using since 2011, so nothing has changed there in a long time. I haven't installed anything recently either. Any help is appreciated.
Edit: forgot to say, I'm on Windows 7 Home Premium, and I have an HP dv6-6b51nr

Hmm. Well. Lets start with the beginning. More than likely it is a driver issue, but hey, lets run a full diagnostic on it.
First, when the computer turns on does it show the HP logo? If so, awesome. That is a good sign. When you are booting up the computer press the esc button repeadily this should bring up a screen with HP where it will give you some options. One of those is diagnostics. We want to run them. Hopefully it looks like this. Do system test, the extensive option. THis will take 1-4 hours to run. It does a hardware diag on your system.
Assuming that is good, we are looking at a driver issue as indicated by the error code 0x00000116. Here is a forum talking about your specific blue screen error code though.
It actually looks like this. Which option would be best? The start up test?
You've got an older version is all. Nothing game breaking.
I'd run the start-up test, hard disk test, memory test... Yeah, those three cover the highlights.

Ran those and they all passed. What should I do now?
Hardware is good then. That is good news.
At this point, has the computer booted up into the OS or is it still trying to do that restore?
