Best MMA documentary hands down
Everytime I watch these documentaries, I feel that I will always root for Overeem, which makes his losses that much harder to witness. :(
Does anybody actually know how and why he produces these? They are always extremely well made and I enjoy them but I don't know who is funding it or what the 'goal' is.

Eldar Gross makes them but he does other gigs all the time. For example he does video's and artwork for GLORY for a while as well, he was never full time employed by Overeem or some. I heard somewhere he did/does some work for UFC now as well but not sure if thats true or not.
So there will be more episodes, dont worry
It's made by Alistair's friend Eldar Gross. Alistair makes it in order to promote himself and document his career.
nobody knows
Everytime I watch one of these episodes, and I look back at all the other episodes from the past, I think: What a ride this has been, Alistair
As if I'm being a part of this journey
It's smart; If he gets people emotionally interested in his continuing journey, they'll tune in to wherever his career takes him. He takes care of his brand better than any promoter has.

I never understood the criticism of Overeem as being arrogant or a jerk. It doesn't seem likely that this is true. His dad as a very go getter philosophy explained in that analogy used:"It's not about arrogance or pride, or any of that.......it's about being the best at what you do. Doesn't matter if you are a fighter, or a toilet cleaner... be the best toilet cleaner there is." I think Overeem thinks this way and maybe that's why he comes off as arrogant.
He's said some straight up smug and arrogant shit.
I liked it though.
Alistair knows how to draw attention to himself. He was saying shit like this in K-1, and it made him a sensation in Japan and the obvious poster boy for K-1 after Badr Hari landed himself in jail.
Mousasi doesn't articulate in dutch can understand him better in english
I've read that Peter Aerts is just as impossible to understand in Dutch as he is in English.
He's pretty hard to understand in both but a lot easier in Dutch for me because his English is not that good
Please, Please don't lose Overeem. If you have to fight like you did against Mir it's fine just don't lose, don't make me sad again Overeem.
Now I want a tasty mint.
A tasty turning point mint
Damn the part right after he lost to Rothwell where he was taking pictures with fans made me super sad =(
The feels when he's walking out of the arena after losing and every other person is grabbing on to him for a pic. Don't be that guy.
Thank you! I've been looking for this all day

Reem doesn't have the best luck these days in the octagon, but he leads a very meaningful life. The experience between fights must be so worth it and in the end will outshine the few moments he spends in the octagon. Glad to see he gets to live a positive life outside of his career.
I disliked Reem a lot during Strikeforce, he was too full of himself and needed a slice of humble pie, after he got it in the cage, I really started to like him because he seemed to turn his life around, now I root for him every time.

Watched it for the first time in years, still great fucking documentary series. Most important part was his post-Rothwell backstage reaction. Greg Jackson does a good job at both keeping it real, and giving him hope for the future. That convo followed by fans cheering him up while asking for a photo was a good touch. We rarely get to see this kind of footage, it's great.

The part where he was walking through the lobby after his loss made me really sad for him. He just got ko'd in front of everyone and now there's all these random strangers coming up to him and asking for pictures and bugging him. This is why I kind of cringe when people post pictures of with the title "ran into ____ this weekend, look at me posing next to him with a clenched fist". Just because someone is famous doesn't mean they deserve to be bugged by a bunch of strangers, especially after a knockout loss.
I fucking love The Reem documentaries. These documentaries are better than what the UFC produces.
