A great video about my local league, the Northern Ireland Football League.

One of these days I will get round to watching a local game. Been meaning to go for years and this video is making me want to go a little bit more.

I'd recommend going to see a cliftonville or linfield game. Don't be deceived by crusaders' high position in the table, they play scrappy football and hoof the ball up in the air and rely on their big guys to score with their heads. Linfield and cliftonville play a much higher quality of football, keeping the ball on the deck and sliding it about the pitch, although I may be biased as a log time cliftonville fan. They aren't on form right now :(

Yea always wanted to go see a Cliftonville game. One of my mates is a die hard fan and encouraged me to come along. Hopefully get seeing one soon :)

Does Glentoran get decent attendances? I'd like to go there once.

They would get a good crowd out to the big home matches against teams like linfield, cliftonville and crusaders, maybe Portadown too. They have a large support, but many don't show up for regular season matches. If you can get to a big match you should go, be it a.l rivalry or a cup match in the later stages.

Thanks! I'll keep that in mind when I plan a trip!
