Such a quality young lad!!
Doesn't show the header he completely missed, that led to Baker's great chance. His passing and distribution didn't seem as neat as the past few games either. Still a good game by him though.
I don't understand why every mistake gets so magnified by people in this sub, especially our defenders/Migs. Even world class defenders and keepers make mistakes game in and game out.
game in and game out.
Not really though. Terry will make maybe 5 big mistakes a season. Same as other top centre backs. That's why they are top centre backs, because they don't fuck up often.
They do though they just aren't catastrophic and don't lead to goals. And Mignolet and our defenders are far from world class so I don't get why we need to expect perfection from them.
What a player this guy is going to become for us.
Another tidy game at CB, wouldn't be surprised to see him stay there long term.
I'm ok with him playing center back until a) Lovren gains his form back or b) we find a suitable player to slot in. But once either of those two happens I want to see him in the midfield so bad. Just imagine how much damage a midfield of Lucas Can and Hendo would do
I'm not sure how often that will be done though. Seems like a lot of pressure on Hendo to be the creative force.
Perhaps then a diamond with Coutinho/Lallana/Sterling at the tip
Diamond may suit Balo more but that really screws over our Attacking midfielders. Those 3 have been as good as any this season.
