I got fooled on my first Tinder experience :(

tl;dr: I got tricked to show up for a meet-up by a fake/troll account on my very first tinder experience

So I recently started using tinder, like two weeks ago and didn't really have much luck, cause well I don't follow rules 1 and 2. I had some bots and two real matches. One of them unmatched me after I wrote to her and the other one was surprisingly texting me first.

I can post the screenshots if you want but I don't feel like editing it all onto the pics, cause the conversation was in german, so I'll just tell you how it went in text form:

Her: smiley face with hearts as eyes

Me: Oh hey, how are you?

H: Obviously great when I see you

M: bootlicker/brown-noser (no idea how to translate really)

H: Wanna meet?

(I'm already smelling something fishy, this is going way too quickly)

M: You don't beat around the bush, huh? Where are you from?

H: I'm really into you and town close to mine (now "she" actually made a play on words in connection to my previous message but I can't translate it at all. It was actually kind of corny and funny, which made me think she was legit.)

M: You are actually overwhelming me a bit with your excitement, I'm not used to that. Are you studying or what are you doing?

(couple hours later, no response, thought I fucked up) :

M: To get back to meeting up, I'd be free on sunday or monday.

(no response for like 5 days, then suddenly at 9 p.m.)

H: are you free right now?

M: Nah, I'm studying and have to get up early tomorrow, as boring as that sounds. I'm free tomorrow after lunch though.

H: Is studying more important than sex to you?

M: I didn't know what you were planning till now. That sounds a lot different than maybe meeting up for a drink or coffee. Wanna come over?

H: send me your address smug smiley face

(nah mate I'm not gonna give you my address, something is wrong here)

M: We can meet at the gas station at blablabla and then go over to my place.

H: Alright, I'm there in 35mins

M: So 10:30?

H: I'm actually already omw, so in 15mins

H: I'm there, where are you?

M: omw, 2mins

M: I'm standing at the LED board

H: Am I at the right place? Look at my moments

M: I cant see any moments. Here is my number, just call me.

H: well tough luck, I'm standing right here.

M: Yea I'm standing where I told you, really cant miss me.

(At this point I realized and just walked home again)

H: Well, search for me.

M: I hope you had fun.

Then "she" tried to poke fun at my profile a little and I wished that person a happy life, that is filled by more than trolling people on the internet and unmatched the account after screenshotting the conversation and reporting/flagging the account.

Now this wasn't really much time or effort wasted (I literally just put on some pants and walked to the gas station) but I'm still kind of bummed that that is my first Tinder experience and felt like sharing as this just happened a couple of minutes ago. I'm glad that I didnt give out my address but I probably should have treated my phone number the same way :/
