Back when r/Niggers was banned, the users tried to find other subreddits in order to make them into "/r/Niggers2" because all of the subreddits that they created themselves were instantly banned.
So they tried to make r/SRSsucks into a r/Niggers reboot community, which led us mods to ban them on sight so that it wouldn't happen.
In other words, we didn't ban them because we personally hated them (which any sane person would do anyways), but to keep them away from fucking up the subreddit which they tried to do intentionally.

It kind of blows me away, but we do get the occasional person who gets deeply offended that a poster also posts to a "racist" or just generally bad sub, and then yells and demands that everyone ignore the person.
I get that they don't want this sub to be represented in a bad light, but we're making fun of people who demand that people can't be allowed to say things on the internet.

After the Je Suis Charlie thing happened, I saw a tweet linking to a change.org petition demanding that the British television service lock down on a show that was being produced in England.
The show was supposed to be a sit down comedy...
