NVIDIA SHIELD TABLET?

I'm thinking in getting this tablet, is it worth it?

i hear it had problems with the corners cracking duo heat and audio problems.

Or should i go over the Nexus 7?

I got one of the first Shields ... never had an issue ... from what I heard, they stopped shipping for a while til they got whatever issues they had, sorted out ... also sounds like anyone who had an issue, got a new tablet ... no problem

mine mostly collects dust now

I use an Asus ME572

I also have a Lenovo S8-50 that I'd use instead of the Shield, if not for the ME572

Dell 7840 is somewhat thinner/lighter than the Shield ... but I still prefer the Asus and Lenovo

Nexus 7 is getting very long in the tooth

Why do you prefer them over the shield tablet?

thinner and lighter ... I can very comfortably palm the Asus

for most everything I do, they keep up with the Shield just fine

I do wish the Asus had the Shield's speakers and HDMI port ... but on the rare occasion I'm holding the Shield anymore, I'm wishing I was holding something else

I have the shield and like it. One issue that I had (likely a android lollipop issue), slow performance with Facebook and Facebook messager installed. I don't know to much into the details, but it is an issue talked about on forums. When I removed it, the performance of the shield is great.

I have yet to try the game streaming. I still need to upgrade my video card. Hearthstone has been running great.

If you have an android phone, apps transfer to the device.

WiFi would disconnect when I first got the device, but I have not had any issues with it.

I have yet to have an issue with battery life, but I do not use the tablet outside my house.
