An interesting turn of events: The ride/no ride, the why of the ride, and the curious case of Krista's deleted post.
[–]Adnans_cell hosted a lively discussion on the "mind boggling scenario of Adnan asking Hae for a ride." And from that discussion came a curious outcome. A deleted post. And now I'm as confused as ever.
Krista was there when Adnan asked Hae for a ride. Consequently, she told Aisha they should check w/Adnan when Hae turned up missing.
Adcock, having the piece of information above, called Adnan and asked him if he got that ride. Adnan told Adock that yes, he asked for a ride, but it never materialized (the 'tired of waiting').
After Hae's body was found, Adnan then told O'Shea it was incorrect, he did not ask for a ride.
Numerous people testified that Adnan asked Hae for a ride.
Numerous people said he needed a ride because his car was in the shop.
2014 Adnan says he "would never have" asked Hae for a ride, thus denying what others have testified to, and what he told Adcock.
2014 Adnan now says he offered Jay the car-in-shop car to get Stephanie a present.
Krista, today, affirms the shop scenario: http://i.imgur.com/VjGiFaz.jpg
Did he need a ride from Hae because his car was in the shop or because he was lending it to Jay or both? Did his car end up in the shop? I'm thinking he would have needed an appointment.
What I get from all of this is Adnan was needing a ride from Hae because his car was in the shop (or going to the shop) at the same time that he's offering the car to Jay to go get a present at the same time as he's not asking Hae for a ride, because he would never have done that. And now the "car in shop" post has been deleted.
It's a bit like Alice in Wonderland, isn't it? Things just keep getting curiouser and curiouser.
