Any update on MtGox investigation?
Hi Kraken support (or anyone in the know),
Just wondering if there has been any update to the investigation into the missing MtGox BTC / Fiat? If not, could you please provide a brief update? Haven't seen anything since November when it was announced that Kraken were to assist.
I understand there may be confidentiality / do not disclose agreements etc. in place, so even a simple 'we are working on it' would suffice. Cheers.

Hiya. Unfortunately, we can't say much. Anything we do say would need to be cleared by the trustee, and likely the Tokyo police, as our findings in the investigation may inform the direction of other ongoing investigations. Ultimately, we report to the trustee and serve at their pleasure so we have to be careful not to betray their trust. Our mission is to produce the best outcome for the creditors.
I can say that we have begun our investigation and are doing a very thorough analysis of all the information and data available to us. I wish I could share more. Hang in there.

Thanks Jesse, it's pretty tough for us creditors since months pass and we almost never get to hear much, but I trust you guys will do the right thing.
