Rodgers getting wet

Guys, what's up with Brendan never wearing a coat with a hood or having an umbrella ready?

He always stands out in the rain for 90 minutes, unlike most managers who at least have a hood in their coat.

My theory is that because the players get soaked, he gets soaked with them.

No apologies needed when you're capable of conjouring up such wonderful images as these -

''...the players get soaked, he gets soaked with them.''

Managers with umbrellas have a very poor reputation in England these days thanks to this useless twat

EDIT: Nice ninja delete, BearJedi. Okay then, McClaren is a wally then, I'll be nice.

Ehh, I'm English and I'd probably rock the hood approach. Although I do really think it's him getting soaked due to the players having to endure it. That seems Rodgers' thinking

Yeah there's probably something to that. I guess some people aren't bothered about getting wet. I'd probably just stand there and take it like Rodgers does, or go for the hoody as you said.

Anyone with an umbrella would just get comparisons made about them to McClaren though. Rival supporters don't like Rodgers as it is and having an umbrella would just make the 'banter' they make worse.

Rogers does not fear falling water from the sky.

This is what confuses me. I believe BR is very astute in the mentology dept, and I agree he's getting wet with the players to show a unity, a 'we are one' approach. So it confuses me when he openly critises Balotelli or any other player openly on a public forum.

I can only assume he has already told the player his concerns and that he's not going to keep his thoughts private.

Ah, see, my theory on the Balotelli approach is that previous managers who have handled Balotelli have all failed.

Mourinho, Mancini, Filippo Inzaghi of AC Milan, they all tried this 'I'm your friend' approach, the arm around the shoulder thing.

It hasn't worked. They've all wanted rid of him.

Brendan criticised Balo straight after arguably Balotelli's best game in a red shirt. Brendan wouldn't say anything to the media without it being well thought out by his team before hand. They're not stupid. He also knew full well that Balotelli worked hard that game. I think he's just trying a different approach to what managers have been using with him. It's more of a 'You need to work hard. Oh, you're trying? Work harder, you're still going to be benched next game.'

Plot twist: The ploy was actually crafted by Dr. Pieters for the last 6 months

He does not give any fucks about rain.

Noticed Balotelli didn't have his hood on either while all his teammates were bundled up during the rain in the second half.
