Before we saw Richard Wayne Gary Wayne's face, was he voiced by Chris Pratt?

I was showing my roommate the first episode last night. When she sees the rat in the garbage can, it flashes back to the bunker, where she uses a rat to contradict Reverend Richard about life after the apocalypse. Ends with the "Kimmy Schmidt, I will break you!" "No you won't." exchange.

When I heard his voice this time, I swear it was Chris Pratt. Am I wrong? I couldn't find anything to back up my hunch, but there are a few moments that I feel sound unmistakably like Chris Pratt.

Thoughts? Am I crazy? I need to know! It's maddening...

Nah, I could tell right away that it was Jon Hamm's voice. I figured it would be someone who has worked closely with Fey and would be a good name/face to reveal later on. I assumed it was Hamm based on the "I'll break you Kimmy Schmidt!" and was happy to see it come true.

I thought it was Parnell.

My husband said the same thing! When I told him that the actor playing RWGW was spoiled for me but it was awesome and I couldn't wait for him to see, Parnell was his first guess. I love that they went with Hamm, so perfect, but Parnell would have been amazing as well.

When they showed that scene it sounded like John Hamm to me. Needless to say, I was pumped when they first showed him in the courthouse.

Second time around when I knew he was at least being played by Hamm at the end, it sounded like Hamm at the beginning

Same for me.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. He sounded exactly like Pratt, especially when he was singing.

I knew I recognized the voice right away. I think to me it sounded like the "Kate Micucci's brain" character that he has done a couple times on the podcast Doug Loves Movies.

Sorry to resurrect a dead thread, just now watching the show.

It's definitely Hamm's voice -- but he was absolutely doing a Tommy Lee Jones impression, which is who I pegged it as in episode 1 (having not read anything about the show until after watching it).
