Reddit Phoenix Rules, Schedule, and Info (Updated).

ABOUT US

We are a Verified RWCS Community. Our main clan is Reddit Phoenix and our feeder is Phoenix Rising (#YJ2LC29L). We feature a strong core of experienced players. We are focused on War, and feature 6 wars each season (2 optional, 4 mandatory). Phoenix is a community; we are always willing to share our knowledge, learn innovative strategies, and compete in war. Together, We Rise.

REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN

Feel free to submit a post to r/Reddit_Phoenix or send a message to discuss application. We seek strong war attackers who want to learn and grow. We desire more research because it shows development of war strategy. The absolute requirement is the pass word found on THIS page.

Please Request in game, to Phoenix Rising (#YJ2LC29L) as follows: Reddit username. TH Level. Favorite strategy. RWCS pass word. You will be subject to a Tryout week! During this Tryout, we look to see if you will fit with Reddit Phoenix, and if you are a strong clasher.

  • Able to maintain 500+ donations for 2 weeks.

TH8:

  • Hogs Lv4

  • No GoWiPe

TH8.5 (Max TH8 who has TH9 offense only):

  • Max Hogs and Balloons

  • 220 army camp space, 4 spells, and Archer Queen

TH9:

  • Witches unlocked

  • Max Hogs and Balloons

  • Evidence of strong war comps (Hog, Holo, GoHo, LL etc.)

  • King 10 / Queen 10 minimum preferred.

  • King 15+ / Queen 15+ if Xbows Lv3

TH10:

  • Max TH9 troops

  • Freeze unlocked

  • Heroes 25/25+

OUR RULES

  • We are 100% Fair play. We do not allow cheating. Sandbox, mods, farm bots, and spying are all instant, kick worthy offenses.

  • Donate the properly requested troop. Archers are default if the request is not clear. If the request says, "anything", then you will get an-yy-thing. Trolling requests with bad troops will result in kick.

  • Meet the donations requirements. You should be donating and playing daily, not leaving donations until the last few days. 500/2 weeks is a minimum not maximum.

  • Be active in chat- Get to know the other members, talk war raids, base layouts, farming, or even about real life.

  • There is a zero tolerance policy for verbal abuse, harrassment, excessive vulgarity, racism, sexism, and dislike of Taylor Swift. If the Leadership finds a members behavior in, or outside of game (to the extent of online Clash forums, posts, etc) to be unacceptable, we will kick. Respect the Leadership, their decisions, and direct complaints to Modmail.

  • Have fun. It's a game. Have fun with raids, be goofy, and embrace the community.

WAR SCHEDULE

  • Optional Wars will occur at the beginning of each season, and are taken seriously. Members must Opt Out for upgrading a heroes and spell factories. You simply cannot succeed war raids, without spells and/or both heroes. Since the Dark Spell Factory upgrade is 8 days, please do that during the off week. You can choose to opt out for even just a mental break. Family, school, and work come first in real life. Then clash.

  • We have mandatory war weeks, every other week. We go back to back until the season ends (4 wars total). This means that we war the second week of the season non-stop. You should only be upgrading your heroes/spell factories during the first week of the season.

This picture might help visualize the seasonal schedule. It was drawn by a cat. Heroes can be upgraded after attacks in the last Mandatory War, all the way through the First Mandatory Prep Day. Remember you CANNOT go to war, without BOTH heroes.

WAR POLICIES

  • You should have a war base with a protected Town Hall, and that was clearly thought out. Your Clan Castle (CC) should be central and hard to lure. There should be Double Giant Bomb (DGB) spots throughout the base. If it is not deemed satisfactory, you may be asked to change it. Please do not have a troll layout saved. NOTE: Forgetting to change your war base from a troll base, to an actual war base gets you a swift kick out.

  • All attacks must be +/-10 of your respective ranking in war, unless cleared by Leadership. If you feel you need to attack out of range, please explain to the Leadership. Snipes are not permitted, so it is better not to ask if you can.

  • Your defensive clan castle requests should be specific and compliment your base layout. You should include the precise number of each troop. Level can be included; please adjust for the Clan Lv 5 perk.

  • You are expected to use both attacks in war. Your first attack in encouraged to occur before 12 hours into Battle Day. You should be attacking with full armies, both heroes up, and full spells. Attacks should show strategy; killing enemy clan castles, heroes, and scouting traps. DO NOT just throw down your army and pray. Scout Attacks, 2 star snipes, and loot snipes are not encouraged, but can be used in certain situations. These must be cleared by leader.

  • ClashCaller.com is MANDATORY and is used to organize attacks. ID codes will be sent via clan main asap. Once the war has begun, it is first come, first call. Please call one attack at a time; once you attack, you may call an open base. If your call expires you lose your call priority. Please be respectful of calls; communicate with the clan. Mistakes happen, but let's keep them to a minimum.

  • Encouraged war strategies include: Hog variants, LavaLoon variants, GoWiWi, Max Valks, and Dragon. Although we can be strict on the strategies, it is to shape members into strong, technical raiders. After that, creativity is welcome. Exploit base weaknesses and use what you are most comfortable doing. We will not allow raids designed around Barch or Healer Giant (Healer-Giant Hog is ok).

  • You may be kicked for performance, to the leadership's discretion. TH8s should be able to consistently 3 star TH8s. TH9s should show strong knowledge of attacking TH9s. We want players to show the use of strategy; not just drop troops. That said, we all have slumps or bad wars, so communicate with the leadership if needed.

  • Opt Out can be used during Optional Wars or if needed, during War Week. We expect all members to participate during War Week. Keep on top of your Opt status. Please discuss an opt out with the leadership if it will effect your participation in War Week. (For long absences please See Going Away).

GOING AWAY

If you are going to be on vacation, and away for the wars send us you should be messaging the mods of this subreddit with the format show below. MAKE SURE TO SEND THE MODMAIL EARLY. Depending on the length of absence, we may move you to Phoenix Rising, but will HOLD a your spot. Or you can Opt Out of a war.* (see War Policies).

GROUPME

GroupMe is a free messaging app, which helps us to connect more easily. One major feature is the ability to share drawn plans of attacks. It is optional, but extremely helpful. If you are interested, download the app, create an account, and send us a Modmail with either the email or phone number used to create your GroupMe account, and we'll add you to the group as soon as we see the modmail.

TeamSpeak

Thanks to generous users in the Reddit War Clan System, we are using TeamSpeak. This is not a mandatory addition to your clashing, but it is available. $5 iOS and $2 Android Market. Please contact the Leadership if you would like the server info and pw.
