Rabia AMA- Fantasy the First

Legal News&Views

IN one of the responses she calls the original 1999 trial a circus.

What is the purpose of such a comment? I have read all the available transcripts, both trials. I have represented on both sides of trials that WERE in fact a circus. THIS was no circus. The definition of a circus at a trial is out of control, no order, no respect, press everywhere. There was almost no reporting done on this case because it was in fact "run of the mill."

Rabia doesn't like what happened in the verdict, fair enough. But she continues to think she can slap labels on things with impunity and that's not going to happen. Calling it a circus insults the judge, lawyers and jury. Sorry your distant friend lost Rabia, but the trial was in NO way a circus and as multiple appeals courts have found, there was nothing wrong with the way it went down.
