Unhandled Exception:

This error can be multiple different things. The best way to solve it is to try each fix one by one until it works.

• Fix #1: Download gl32ogl14e.zip and extract the files into your Diablo II installation folder (usually under C:\Program Files\Diablo II). Open the Path of Diablo Launcher and check off "3dx glide wrapper" and "Run D2 as administrator"
• Fix #2: Run D2VidTst.exe from your Diablo II installation folder (usually under C:\ProgramFiles\Diablo II)
• Fix #3: Click Start menu (windows button), right click Computer, click Properties, Advanced settings, Performance settings, Data execution, add Diablo 2 to the list.
• Fix #4: The above solutions worked out for our members, but in the event where you still have a problem with "Unhandled Exception: Access Violation (c0000005)" read this guide to fixing that issue by Karakaz. It will help you get D2 working.

Join Failed:

• Fix #1: Wait 10 minutes before joining a new game.
• Fix #2: Create a new account and a new character and join any game. Then go back to your main account and character, everything should work.

Cannot Connect to Server:

"Please wait" While Joining Game:

Completely log out of your account and then try again.

"Server Down":

• Reboot your D2 and it will work.
• Server might actually be down

"Connecting to the fastest server":

• You probably made a mistake when editing the server info in the battle.net gateway editor. Try again and make sure there are no blank spaces near the ip address.
• Alternatively, we recommend you use our all-in-one Path of Diablo Launcher that can setup the gateway editor for you automatically in one click.

"Battle.net is unable to properly identify your application version"

• Right click icon; run as administrator
• Right click icon; properties; check Compatibilty XP(SP2/SP3)
• Alternatively, we recommend you use the Path of Diablo Launcher and check off the box "Run D2 as Admin"

How to change your game's language to English:

Replace your d2lang.dll with the one below.
