PROOF OF SUZY'S DISHONESTY (Suzy's Etsy Scam)
This is now an archive for people who are looking for Suzy's questionable history with the fanbase, and wish to discuss it freely.
Note: I understand this may be a bit overkill, but I've seen a LOT of people looking to discuss Suzy interacting questionably with the fanbase. This is for informative purposes only, and in no way reflects my opinion of the situation.
RULES:
-
Please refrain from personally attacking the Grumps or each other in the comments.

If you wish to criticize a practice of one or more of the Grumps, feel free to do so in a respectful manner.

Suzy once used a DMCA strike on the video EGORAPTOR IS OFFICIALLY THAT GUY, first by saying she "didn't like the portrayal of [herself]", but later backtracked and said it was because of "ads", even though the video was never monetized.
-
Suzy was misleading about jewelry she sold on Etsy at an extreme markup.

UPDATE 1: Someone posted the proof on the main sub.
UPDATE 2: The post on the main sub is at the top of the front page.
UPDATE 3: Posts are being censored on the main subreddit.
UPDATE 4: A mod has provided an excuse for why the post was briefly removed from the main sub.
UPDATE 5: Suzy has apologized for being dishonest.
UPDATE 6: Arin has responded to the post, mentioning r/ventgrumps, Suzy's feelings, fan-interaction, etc.
"/r/ventgrumps does not strike me as a place teaming with 'future customers' needing to be 'saved,' but rather an easy place to get a rise out of folks who already have a negative disposition towards Suzy."
|
"To hear her ask me "should I just stop being on Game Grumps?" in the most sullen, defeated tone I've ever heard in order to protect the one thing that fills her with excitement the most breaks my fucking heart."
|
"When you hear her say that she gets frustrated with fans, she is talking about instances like this, not the fanbase as a whole, and I can certainly see where she's coming from, because I, too, am very frustrated."
|
"Suzy has refused again and again to post about her shop on her channel, and it wasn't until I hounded her to do so that she reluctantly did it."
UPDATE 6.5: Arin says the OP of the proof was unethical and harassing.
"[The] person who is criticizing Suzy at the heart of all this detective work has been harassing Suzy's customers under multiple twitter handles and, from what it looks like, fabricating evidence? Suzy has made countless reports to Twitter for this person's alternate accounts and unethical actions."
FOURTH POST ABOUT THIS TOPIC:
^^ UPDATE 7: The OP of the proof has provided additional information regarding Suzy's shop-keeping.
FINAL UPDATE?:
The main sub has just announced they will not allow further discussion of Suzy's Etsy situation.
