The App has 1126 5 Stars and 2 4 Stars. No one rated 3,2 or 1. And App is one day old already on top of Google Play Charts.
It now has 2 1 star reviews
3 now. the only 3 ratings from the only 3 real people that have used the app.
So from real photoers then
I guess they did not enjoy the collage with you
What is the procedure on reporting a blatant review manipulation? I went as far as this, then I'm stumped at this part. None of that relates to reviews. Should I flag all of those reviews one by one instead? What if I flagged legitimate reviews?
also those screenshots are using iphones, like, really, you can't even bother to find a nexus render
Why did Google allow iPhone screenshots? Where's the fucking quality control?
It doesnt have screenshots from any entertainment media that may get offended so its a pass, seems like thats the only QA google does...
I just flag the app itself
Yep, same with apps/videos/others that violate copyrights. Not my copyright, but his copyright!
They've got more ratings than downloads.
If you click on one of the fake reviewers you will see almost everybody has reviewed the same apps.
Looks like [Download Manager] (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tt.android.dm.view) also is paying for fake reviews, which is a real shame as is an app with more than 5 million downloads.
OP's app link had no reviews from my country, however, this has multiple saying "you bitch this doesnt work" "fuck off" "what is this shit, fuck I downloaded it 12times and it doesnt work go fucking away" and similiar
This is why play store is a mess with shitty apps, the only thing I hate on android is this. I prefer the quality control and suggestion of apple store. Everytime I load apple app store there's something new interesting but on android they show you the same thing and suggest apps you already have that does the same thing. Pull your shit together google
How do you know that people really just don't love having their faces put inside a love heart frame?
Why are you discriminating against love hearts?
Check out some of the 1 star reviews. The dev responded. "we use big marketing on some mobile network. so reviews come from real user"
What the hell does that mean? It sounds like they admitted using a marketing system to get reviews.
Based on the reviews they have been using it as carrierware on some martian moon
This is something that bugs me constantly. I don't want to put a put a percentage on it with regards to the number of apps that do it, but I see fake reviews every single time I browse the Play Store.
I don't understand why Google aren't doing more to prevent it. Surely there must be something they could do along the lines of Facebook and Twitter purging their pages of fake followers.
If it's real people doing it (presumably for money), then it should be very obvious from a glance at their review history, and their accounts should be banned.
Did anyone notice they're only using iPhone (5s or 6, idk) on they preview images? On an Android App?
Reported it.
What's the penalty for this? Shenanigans cannot be allowed to go unpunished.
More hoops for real devs to jump through

So what actions can we take against this particular app?
Reporting.
how do they do this? do they actually have 1100 accounts?
There's actually quite a few services that are willing to Jack up your ratings for money... My email is littered with such junk.
All you need is to pay like $5000 and some businessman in china will get you sorted out under 1 week.
Let's rate it 1 star and report it to Google.
I'm not sure ratings matter that much to Google's search algorithm. Maybe I'm wrong.
where do i flag or report this kind of apps?
Very bottom of the page there should be a "Flag as inappropriate" button
do you have link for me, i dont find it :( http://i.imgur.com/kdHAwgZ.jpg
Google really needs to employ more humans to do App reviews and Play Store audits.
If Google Play is to be truly competitive with the Apple App store, they need to better curate their apps.
Automation is a good first step, but it's not hard to look at the Play Store at a high level and see where the system is being gamed.
The Play Store is rife with copyright-infringing apps, misleading apps, and plain junk apps. The overall quality is very poor.
It's like a spammy website that requires a discerning eye in order to acquire what you want. It shouldn't be that hard.
My mother should be able to find and download a quality app that serves her purposes, but that is often not the case.
Meanwhile legit apps like yatse are being banned from google play by google left and right... :(
"Let friend and family to enjoy the collage with you"
"Tons of creativer and designed frames to choose"
Looks legit
