New Process for Submitting Hack Reports

For some time, the process by which players report hackers in ZMR has been not been standardized, leading to public accusations and general contention in this subreddit.

In an effort to increase the efficiency by which we accept and process hack reports, as well as improve the environment of this subreddit, we encourage players to submit all hack reports via http://support.enmasse.com/zmr going forward:

  1. Go to http://support.enmasse.com/zmr.

  2. Login to your En Masse account.

  3. Click the “Contact Support” button.

  4. Select “ZMR” from the “Select a Game” dropdown menu.

  5. Select “I want to report another player.” from the “Issue Type:” dropdown menu.

  6. Please provide the name of the player you are reporting as well as a rough estimate of the time and date when you observed their suspicious behavior in-game.

  7. Include a link to video proof of the suspected player whenever possible. This is encouraged, but not required.

Under this new process, we will not be responding to player reports to confirm some action was taken against the reported player. This is a practice we have already adopted on the subreddit. A number of players reported via the subreddit over the past few weeks have already been processed.

Though the support site may indicate a delay in response time, hack reports are dealt with by specific employees here at EME and may or may not be subject to any current response time delays. Do not let the quoted wait time deter your report.

We are adopting this format and process as it will allow us to be more organized and efficient in processing player hack reports. We hope this new process will be an improvement while we pursue a more permanent solution.

Thanks, Denommenator
