Why do some people dislike or hate on SS and RC?
Hi all,
i'm curious about all the negativity and bad press that these two sometimes get and hope people can fill me in.
Starting with SS - for me, even if you believe entirely in Adnan's guilt, what is the basis for disliking her, or what she is doing? I think we can all agree that this lady is extremely intelligent and has added so much to the discussion and debate - to me, she doesn't have any kind of agenda. she is merely examining the case and the complexities that surround it. I've seen her get particular criticism for her "butt dial" article - but (pardon the pun) like it or not, stranger things have happened and these things are always worth looking at without dismissing as "desperate".
- RC - I've seen things written about this lady that are incredibly rude and inconsiderate. YES she has a probable bias towards Adnan (in her situation how could you not?) and YES maybe this might effect her judgment of the case. But why should we criticize her personally for this kind of easily understandable stance?
like SS, it's clear to me that she is and intelligent person who has a tremendous knowledge about the history of the ordeal (note: note necessarily about the crime itself!). she's confrontational - that appears to be her personality - and everyone has the right to disagree with what she is saying - but lets be reasonable and acknowledge what she has probably gone through personally in this ordeal? the amount of time and effort she's spent devoting her life to this person (regardless of whether they're innocent or guilty). for me its still incredibly admirable.
if you disagree or I am off the mark here, please let me know.
