SoCal Herf (now with 100% more drinking!) RECAP!!!

So u/TEDrickSON decided to put together a impromptu herf based on hopping from brewery to brewery in Torrance Ca.

Honestly, I had no idea there were 3 breweries within walking distance but then hey. I guess you learn something new every day.

First stop was Smog City Brewing Co. I walked in and was greeted by u/TEDrickSOn and u/Kanjjn. Grabbed a Coffee Porter (one of my faves) and chilled until u/pho_drizzlezzz and u/JudgeDanny showed up. We all drank a beer there and decided it was time to do our 5 stick round robin trade in the parking lot.

I think u/Kanjjn was excited about his 5 stick trade don't you?

After the trade we all (sans Danny who decided he was lazy and drove his car there) decided to walk to Monkish Brewing Co while smoking cigars. We sat outside of the brewery smoking at a small table we found

As we were chillin' we were approched by an middle aged guy who asked us what cigars we were smoking (he didn't actually care) and then proceeded to tell us that he ONLY smoked cubans and he has friends in the Navy that sells them to him. Danny ribbed him saying "The one's in the glass top humidors are the BEST!" The guy agreed wholeheartedly. <- LOL

We then walk into Monkinsh and turns out u/Kanjjn knows everyone there and proceeds to give us tour of the brewery while dropping insane knowledge regarding the finer points of brewing the delicious liquid we were consuming.

So after they closed, we all piled into Danny's car (I do mean piled in the literal sense) and he drove down to our last stop of the adventure

THE DUDES

This place had a beer aptly named Juice Box and it was delicious. It wasn't on the menu but u/Kanjjn knows the SECRET MENU it was on (he said it's kind of like ordering Animal Style at In-N-OUT)

Local Knowledge FTW

We all drank it and agreed it was some of the best beer we've ever drank.

As we are drinking this amazing beer we find out that it's trivia night at the Dude's.

We decided to crash the party HERF DERF style

The game was a music trivia that they would play a clip of a song and you had to guess the artist.

We proceeded to DESTROY the compitition with our music skills and our ability to use Shazam sneakily. 10/10 would cheat again.

After they closed Danny drove us back to Smog City and we procceded to smoke cigars and ponder who from our time would be a cigars figurehead for future generations (Ahhhnold and Air Jordan came to mind)

A few more sticks were thrown out and a midnight we called it a seccesful herf.
