I got my lavender from Renee's too! I just started a new pot with seeds in it. Hopefully they'll grow too!

Good luck! Hopefully this start stays safe from the dog!

I started this lavender by seed. It's my first time growing lavender. I bought the seeds from Renee's garden, and I used a standard seed starting mix. I added the seeds, covered with a thin layer of mix, and kept it moist, not damp, and covered with saran wrap to maintain humidity, and misted once a day. I had a high germination rate, and have had to thin regularly.

The lavender are in the three seed pots on the top right.

Kudos to you since I've been having huge trouble growing it from seed (I gave up and bought a plant lol) how long did they take to germinate?

It took just a bit over a week. I sowed my lavender, mint, parsley, oregano, and rosemary at the same time. The lavender was the first to sprout along with the oregano

It might be just a seed source issue. The seed packet stated that they like it moist but not damp. I wasn't sure how to make the distinction, so I didn't mist it as much as the other seeds. Maybe I got lucky!
