Base raiding still too easy

It can take days to build a base but one group with enough Ethanol can easily level a base in under 20 minutes.

Every single base my group has built has been raided or destroyed, every time this happens someone quits.

We have maybe 3 active players left in our group which at one point had 20+ members.

The base raiding mechanics are still wrong. The time investment to create mass stockpiles of ethanol is just WRONG.

How easy it is to get into a base and take everything is WRONG. Dropping everything on the ground to despawn it instead of taking it is WRONG.

Just wrong wrong wrong. Looks like my groups quit till the next patch again.

It should be the other way around. 5 water to 1

Completely agree. Make IEDs should be the only way into a base, something that actually takes a bit to farm.

When bases are harder to raid, people build up more stuff over time and the reward for a successful raid is larger.

Yesterday we raided 6 bases. Materials for it took about an hour for all of them (biofuel)

Just dumb in general

IED's are still easy to make. Made 45 the other day. Just have to get fertilizer which is like 3 De Soto runs.

Yea def need to make raiding prep even more rare, but biofuel farming is like 50x easier than IEDs.

I think gunpowder should require a bottle to make at the least, or some sort of bag to hold it in.

Biofuel can be cut back by reducing the amount of fat you can get from animals. How many people have you seen get like 3 fat from a wolf, but nothing from a bear...

Fertilizer is needed for other things other than gun powder creation, which is nice that it has a dual purpose, but both purposes end up with raiding. That should change. Maybe instead of being able to craft gun powder, we should have to break down bullets to get it, or have gun powder be a spawn.

I agree that base raiding is too easy and you getmassive amount of ethanol/biofuel far to quickly. my group plays only to raid bases and give cars/other stolen loot to bambies. But what is not wrong is to take everything from your enemy's base (drop or steal) when your group is against equal or bigger group off course you do everything to slow them down. There is no way atm to stop ppl from taking all of your stuff and never will, harder yes

If you saw a wooden shed in the woods it wouldn't take you more than 20 minutes to fuck it up completely. In a small group your best bet is to just hide your items in a hole.

It's incredibly easy and I agree with you. Ethanol should take much more to farm.

However, why is it wrong that I can raid your base and not be able to drop what I don't want? It takes about 15 minutes for everything to despawn (if I remember correctly from when I accidentally did that to myself). I feel like if someone raids your base, and wants to just drop whatever they don't want, I don't see why not.

I think the whole 'raiding' system needs to be overhauled. Waiting for your opponent to log off then raiding their base just feels cheep and easy. How about when a door or gate is made the player crafts a key, they can create duplicates of this key and give it to their team mates. If some one dies, then the person who killed them can pick up all their keys; granting them entrance to the base. However players can change their locks (10 scrap metal).

A system like this would make it so skill is required when raiding bases, also your base can't be raided whilst you're off line (unless you forget to change your locks). The raiders know that the owners will be returning to the base ASAP; creating tension.

They need to nerf ethanol production so it only gives 1 instead of 5 per batch. It doesn't make sense that 1 bottle of water can make 5 bottles of ethanol...

Agreed on that - I couldn't believe that one piece of corn and one piece of wheat could net 5 gallons of ethanol.
