Templar Healer Build

As start, none vr14 just go with 5 seducer 3 torugs and whatever jewelry you have, you should be fine then (one piece heavy is wise the rest light)

Second of all, I've used the same set up in pvp a couple times, for me it works but there might be better set up's, ask @ThorosofLeeds or @Meey about them.

Third of all, get at least 18K+ health (without emp), enchant everything with magicka, jewerly with cost reduction.

Fourth of all, any question please post them, everything is up for discussion, if you have a better build and can prove it with numbers do it, I ain't perfect but I healed every end game (and completed) with the exception of sanctum hm (never did it), what i wrote down works.

For healing while moving around a lot (for example pledges, vr dsa) these build are recommended:

##Build 1, the "what ra posted on tm foundry" build

  • 5 healer (jewelry, shoes, hat)
  • 4 martial (chest, legs, gloves, belt)
  • master resto/desto, precise is best
  • heavy undaunted shoulder, one that gives max health is best, otherwise max magicka. Best trait to have is reinforced.

##Build 2, the "why does everyone get master resto's but I don't" build

  • 5 healer (jewelry, shoes, hat)
  • 3 martial (legs, gloves, belt)
  • 2 torugs (staff, chest)
  • heavy undaunted shoulder, one that gives max health is best, otherwise max magicka. Best trait to have is reinforced.

##Build 3, the "gold keys dont give me good shoulders" build

  • 5 healer (jewelry, shoes, hat)
  • 4 martial (chest, legs, gloves, belt)
  • 2 torugs (shoulder, staffs)

Build 1 is optimal for trials since stamina builds profit from the master resto enchant (stamina ticks for them). Build 2 has a bigger magicka pool then build 3, but build 3 has more spell power. Both do the job, it's just what you prefer.

For healing while stacking (for example serpent, mage, warrior) these build are recommended:

##Build 1, the "what ra posted on tm foundry" build

  • 4 healer (jewelry, shoes, hat)
  • 4 martial (chest, legs, gloves, belt)
  • master resto/desto, precise is best
  • 2 bogdan (heavy head, medium shoulders)

##Build 2, the "why does everyone get master resto's but I don't" build

  • 4 healer (jewelry, shoes, hat)
  • 3 martial (legs, gloves, belt)
  • 2 torugs (staff, chest)
  • 2 bogdan (heavy head, medium shoulders)

Of course if you don't have luck with gold keys and drops without bogdan just stay with your "on the move" gear"

I know a lot of people used in 1.5 seducer and in 1.6 still did but it isn't good anymore but that's down to the numbers because:

1.0 thru 1.5 Cost Formula = (x-y)*z where x = base cost, y = sum of your reduction enchants, and z = sum of your reduction percentages.

1.6 Cost Reduction Formula = (X*(100-W)/100)-Z)*(1-(Y/100)*0.877) where x = Base cost, y is sum of your Reduction percentages, z is the Sum of your Reduction Enchants, and w is the champion point reduction percentage.

(source: http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/151811/all-magicka-stamina-cost-reduction-percentage-modifiers-nerfed-in-1-6)

5 Seducer gives you zero spell power, the only thing it is handy for is magicka regeneration because the 8% cost reduction = 32 cp spend in cost reduction for magicka skills, even if you put all spell power on jewelry it will be worse then the build i listed above.

##Mundus:

  • Atronach (Magicka regen)
  • Mage (Max magicka)
  • Ritual (Increased healing done)
  • Lover (Increased spell resistance)

It's pretty much what you need you use, trouble sustaining = Atronach, need bigger pool = mage, survivability= lover, don't need any thing = ritual. (tbh never tested if ritual works, I use it myself and for me it works with end game so never bothered to test)

##Skills

Trials:

Resto/Desto

Slot them as you like but of course slot resto skills on resto bar and desto on desto.

  • Healing springs/Illustrious Healing (pending on your sustain)
  • Combat prayer
  • Breath of life
  • 2x Inner light
  • Crushing shock
  • Elem drain (needs to be up 100% for dps)
  • Channeled Focus (magicka reg)
  • Structured Entropy
  • Spears/Extended Ritual/Purifying Light/whatever you need

Key things

  • Keep combat prayer up 100% if you can
  • Keep elem drain up 100% (doesn't stack so one should use it), it is a must (ofcourse healing first but just keep it up because otherwise magica dps run out = less dps = longer fight = more healing needed)
  • dps when needed with the dot and crushing shock

##(Vr) Dsa:

Resto/Desto (can replace desto with master greatsword for more dps and replace crushing shock, if you dont have masters greathsword dual wield works good as well)

  • Breath of life
  • 2x Inner light
  • Crushing shock
  • Solar Barrage (Grants Minor Sorcery to nearby allies, increasing Spell Damage by 5% for 20 seconds.)
  • Channeled Focus (magicka reg)
  • Mutagen
  • Spears (can do without but its nice for the tank)
  • Necrotic Orb (granted the other one looks better, but dps need there magicka back)
  • Whatever you/your group needs

Key things:

  • Keep mutagen up 100%
  • Use solar barrage (or any other dawn wraith abilty) every 20 seconds
  • Give orbs (and spears)
  • interrupt when needed (crushing shock/bash/spear)

##CP

At least 32 cp in cost reduction (magicka ofcourse), the rest is pretty lose. I've got points in crit heal, heal, elem damage, block cost reduction, spell shield, less damage things and magicka reg. Just pick something you need.
