[REQUEST][DISCUSSION] Idea - Community Collaborative Healing Project - I think we need to bring the community together.
This is a thread to openly discuss a collaborative focus and potential project to bring the community together.
I believe we need a project we can focus on and accomplish. I also think it should be something that could bring players and even the best modders together.
It doesn't have to be huge, but substantial, and slightly challenging, but possible. It just has to be something we can find value in working together on, and something that can be relatively successfully without becoming too big, or insignificant. We all need a meaningful win.
We need something we can focus on, so we can learn to come together, instead of fading or falling apart. A project could give our community a purpose and a positive voice. We need some collaborative teamwork for the love of Skyrim that involves the community!
What do you think?

campfire framework mods
A lot of great potential here - especially around the survival theme, but even though it is a significant portion of the community, it leaves those who don't like the challenge/hassle of survival mods out of the equation. It should of course involve the creator of the mods involved. It could also inspire people to build mods off the framework for the project.
I think we need a community involved project bringing people working together.
Do you have any ideas you can build around that? Maybe a questline involving traveling through wilderness or exploring a new area under Skyrim or in the sea? Using the campfire framework could be a the basis of a questline campaign of sorts - maybe the Dragonborn needs to travel with a caravan to unravel a mystery?
This is all about the best idea we can come up with as a community. Call it a challenge!
?????????
Yeah just like boss battles or quest mods or house mods or armor/weapon mods or perk mods or etc etc etc leaves out anyone who doesn't care about those features either.
Also, the campfire framework while allowing functionality that survival/hardcore mods benefit from, has nothing to do with them in and of itself. It is not a needs/warmth mod.
I also thoroughly disagree with any concept of 'one huge mod made by the community'. It won't work and would be a nightmare to manage by whoever spearheads it. At best it would be "___'s mod that uses a lot of community resources".
That is why I said it shouldn't be huge. Just significant enough to give an effort and pose a challenge.1 a small mod an individual could do themselves isn't exactly a community effort
Great idea!
