Parking?

I'm having a hard time figuring out stuff about parking. Here's my questions, if anyone has any idea:

  • Is parking free?
  • In the past, how long has it taken to get in, and get out from general parking?
  • Is premier parking worth it?
  • Is valet parking worth it?

We ended up using valet on the 3rd night last year. Getting in to the parking area around 8pm was a little crowded. We left Dash Berlin's closing set 5 mins before he ended, and hit no traffic at all leaving. Valet was $20

Valet is available for $20 at the Blue and Brown lots. Totally worth it!!! http://lasvegas.electricdaisycarnival.com/getting-there/

1.) Is parking free?

Yes (excluding Valet and Premier parking); the brown and blue lots are the most popular lots for general / free parking.

2.) In the past, how long has it taken to get in, and get out from general parking?

Getting into the parking lot isn't a problem. You can leave your hotel after 7 PM, get stuck in "traffic", and still make it to EDC in under 45 minutes. Leaving, on the other hand, is where the problems occur. If you leave before 4:30 AM you can usually avoid most traffic. If you leave around 5:00 you'll encounter some traffic. If you leave after 5:30 you'll most likely get stuck in traffic for at least an hour (though it's probably going to be closer to 2 hours).

3.) Is premier parking worth it?

It might be, but hard to say. Personally, I'll take my chances with the free or valet option.

4.) Is valet parking worth it?

I'll probably give it a shot at least once this year. I typically am too cheap for Valet, but I'll fork over some cash to do the valet parking at the Brown Lot. I like North Las Vegas Blvd over Speedway Blvd.

to get in easiest thing in the world. getting out. ehhe thats where hell starts. unless you parked super close to the exit like just right at the tip then you'd be out in 10 min and stuck in traffic leaving haha.

Premier parking - people have said that it might give you an extra 10 minute headstart but you'd still be stuck in all the traffic after.

i dunno man. isnt it new this year?

I left an hour before closing on Friday back in 2013, and traffic was very light getting out.
